Research & Development, Biomedical Engineer (m/f/d)

• Development of novel devices, accessories and other specialized cardiac implant products in close collaboration with physicians and external partners

• R&D activities / projects are performed in compliance with the project timelines, milestones, and project budget plans.

• Preparation of test protocols, reports, budgets and presentations as required

• Manage testings performed by third parties.

• Performing design verification/validation studies, bench testing and technical documentation according to international medical device guidelines and regulations

• Support of technical aspects during the preparation of CE mark and international registration documentations

• Holds a degree, Bachelor, Master or Diploma in an engineering field, preferably in biomedical engineering

• Has experience in an engineering department of a manufacturing company in a regulated environment, preferably R&D in a medical device company in the area of ​​​​​​​​cardiology

• Is experienced in the whole development process for medical devices, starting with an idea, creating requirements, V&V tests, up to providing relevant documentation for the submission to the notified body

• A team player who likes challenges

• A confident user of standard office software and familiar with 3D CAD systems

• Fluent in written and spoken English (level B2.2/C1)

• Excellent in leadership, communication, organization and time management

• Open to occasional international travel
