Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) in the Procurement department for the Erfurt site at the earliest possible date. 
The function contains close coordination with the local and cross-location interfaces.

• Procurement management
  • Independent negotiation of local strategic projects 
  • Drafting and coordinating contracts, documents and regulations 
  • Evaluation and preparation of decision papers for investment projects and long-term supply contracts
• Supplier management 
  • Regular analyses of price trends, purchasing and consumption volumes, sales trends, stock levels, supplier shares and benchmarking
  • Derivation/development of optimisation potential through second source use, framework agreements and others
  • General contact management for current orders, operational problem solving
• Order processing and master data maintenance 
  • Processing of requisitions, ad hoc request for quotations, evaluation of quotations 
  • Order initiation and tracking, invoice checks 
  • Recording and initiating measures in the event of internal and external defects (complaints processing)

• Completed university education with a focus on business administration, logistics, supply chain, industry or similar plus initial subject-specific experience
• Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset 
• Excellent communication and organisational skills 
• Very good negotiation skills
• Initial experience of working with relevant ERP systems desirable
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes 
• Very good knowledge of German and English (business fluent)
